The official social media account of Nintendo has made the following announcement.
“On 7/20 we’ll debut the first #NintendoDirect Mini: Partner Showcase, a series focused on titles from our development & publishing partners. We’ll share a few updates on a small group of previously-announced #NintendoSwitch games. Check out the full video release at 7am PT.”
Previously, we had posted about a rumored Nintendo Direct in July that could be potentially focused on Metroid. It is possible that we might get an update on Metroid Prime 4 during this Direct. There is also a rumored 2D Metroid that is due out this year. However, it hasn’t been announced yet despite being part of a rumor that also included new Paper Mario, which is already out now.

Other games that could be shown during the Nintendo Direct tomorrow are No More Heroes 3 and Bravely Default 2. Since this Direct is focused on previously announced games, don’t expect to see surprising new game announcements although it can also happen. This is also one of the many Nintendo Directs that are planned for the rest of the year so it is not the end of the new game announcements. Nintendo has yet to showcase their games lineup for 2020.
