Recently, Nintendo officially confirmed that retail pre-orders for the Switch 2 will begin in the United States on April 24, 2025. The company also stated that launch pricing for the console and select software titles will remain as previously announced, despite shifts in market conditions that have led to adjustments for accessories. The standard Nintendo Switch 2 console will launch at a suggested retail price of $449.99. For those seeking a bundled experience, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World package will be available at $499.99. Meanwhile, the standalone physical and digital editions of Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza will retain their previously announced prices of $79.99 and $69.99, respectively.

Although the core pricing remains stable, Nintendo has made revisions to several accessory prices since the initial announcement on April 2. The company noted these adjustments are a response to evolving market conditions and signaled that further changes to product pricing could occur in the future.
