ATLUS shared several new details about Persona 4 Revival during a dedicated panel at Anime Expo, including the English voice actor for Rise Kujikawa and confirmation that all of the game’s animated cutscenes are being produced by MAPPA.

The “ATLUS Presents: Persona 4 Revival” panel featured Persona series General Producer Kazuhisa Wada, Business Producer Yohsuke Uda and ATLUS character designer Shigenori Soejima. The discussion was hosted by Paul Castro Jr., who voices Yosuke Hanamura in the English version of Persona 4 Revival.

One of the biggest announcements was the casting of Abby Trott as Rise Kujikawa. Rise is a first-year high school student and popular idol known by her stage nickname, “Risette”. In the game, she returns to Inaba, where her grandmother runs a tofu shop, and awakens the Persona Himiko.

The panel also featured a surprise appearance from Manabu Otsuka, President and CEO of Japanese animation studio MAPPA. Otsuka confirmed that the studio is handling every animated cutscene featured in Persona 4 Revival.

ATLUS also announced that both Persona 4 The Animation and Persona 4 The Golden Animation are now available to watch for free on Aniplex USA’s YouTube channel. The anime series will remain available until August 19.

To give fans another look at the remake, ATLUS shared a comparison video highlighting the visual differences between Persona 4 Golden and Persona 4 Revival. The publisher also confirmed that additional English voice cast announcements will be revealed in the coming months.

Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The game will also be available on day one through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with support for Xbox Play Anywhere.
