Assassin’s Creed Mirage headlines the month for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Set in ninth-century Baghdad, the game marks a deliberate return to the stealth-driven structure that defined the early years of the franchise. Ubisoft recently released the Valley of Memory update, which introduces a new explorable zone and several hours of supplemental content.

Another notable addition is Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, joining the lineup on both PS4 and PS5. Developed by Team Ninja, the title blends historical settings with fantasy elements drawn from classical Chinese mythology. The combat system emphasizes close-range encounters and timing-based martial arts techniques.

PlayStation 5 users also gain access to Skate Story, which arrived on December 8. The title combines skill-based skateboarding mechanics with a narrative centered on navigating an abstract, dreamlike environment.

Granblue Fantasy Relink further broadens the selection for both PS4 and PS5. The action role-playing game features four-player cooperative combat and a progression structure built around the Sky Realm setting. Planet Coaster 2, available for PS5, continues the well-known theme park management blueprint with expanded construction tools and more advanced simulation systems.

Additional catalog entries include Cat Quest III, a cooperative-friendly action role-playing game set within a pirate-oriented world; Lego Horizon Adventures, which adapts Guerilla’s Horizon universe into a Lego-themed action adventure format; Paw Patrol Grand Prix, a kart racer for younger audiences; and Paw Patrol World, a broader exploration-focused title based on the same property.

For PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, the retro lineup expands with the introduction of Soulcalibur III. The classic PlayStation 2 fighting game arrives with several modern enhancements, including up-rendering, rewind support, quick save functionality, and optional visual filters.

Sony also outlined a promotional program running from December 11 through January 12. During this period, customers who purchase a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership will receive credits for use in the Sony Pictures Core app. Eligible films include Venom: The Last Dance and 28 Years Later.
