PS Plus Essential July 2024 Games Lineup Includes Borderlands 3

The PS Plus Essential lineup for the month of July, 2024, has been revealed, and among the prominent additions is 2K and Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3.

The PlayStation Blog has officially announced the lineup of monthly titles that are set to be available to PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers in the month of July. The games will be available for download starting Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

The games that are available for PS Plus Essential subscribers in the month of July, 2024 are as follows:

The latest additions to PS Plus Essential will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, July 2, 2024, up until Monday, August 5, 2024. PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, July 1, 2024 to add the June, 2024 lineup i.e.SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake (PS4, PS5), AEW Fight Forever (PS4, PS5), and Streets of Rage 4 (PS4).

Borderlands 3 is a 2019 action role-playing first-person shooter developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K. It was released on September 13, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, on October 30, 2019, for macOS, and on December 17, 2019, for Stadia. Versions for Xbox Series X and Series S and PlayStation 5, including free upgrades for users of previous console versions, were released on 10 and November 12, 2020, respectively. A Nintendo Switch version was released on October 6, 2023. Players complete quests and side missions, either solo or in multiplayer, as one of four classes.

NHL 24 is an ice hockey sim developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports. It was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 6, 2023. It features significant gameplay changes from NHL 23, including new total control skill moves, an exhaust engine, goalie fatigue, a revamped passing system, and physics-based contact.

Among Us is a 2018 online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by Innersloth. It supports cross-platform play and was released on iOS and Android in June 2018 and on Windows in November 2018. It was ported to the Nintendo Switch in December 2020 and to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in December 2021. A virtual reality version, Among Us VR, was released on November 10, 2022.
