The PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for the month of February, 2023, has been leaked early, and among the prominent additions to its catalog is Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West.
The latest additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The list includes major titles, such as Horizon Forbidden West, Scarlet Nexus, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and more. Fans of PlayStation’s first-party titles will be pleased to see Horizon Forbidden West added to the PS Plus Extra catalog this month.

Horizon Forbidden West is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game, which is a follow-up to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn, is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the Western United States that is recovering from an extinction event brought on by a rogue robot swarm. With ranged and melee weapons, the player can fight hostile machine creatures in the open world while completing quests.
The game was released on February 18, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game’s writing and open world design received mixed reviews, while the combat, vocal performances, and technical advancements received praise. An expansion, Burning Shores, will be released on April 19, 2023.
Players assume control of Aloy, a hunter in a world populated by dangerous, animalistic machines. She explores the mysterious Forbidden West, a post-apocalyptic version of the Western United States that includes the states of California, Nevada, and Utah. The world map is larger than the one featured in the previous game, Horizon Zero Dawn. New underwater discoveries, improvements to combat using the Valor Surge system, free-form climbing, and tools like the Shieldwing, Focus Scanner, Diving Mask, and Pullcaster have all brought significant improvements to exploration.
