PS Plus Extra/Premium January 2023 Lineup Includes Devil May Cry 5: SE, Back 4 Blood & More

The PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for the month of January, 2023, has been announced, and among the prominent additions to its catalog is Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition.

The latest additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, January 17, 2023. The list includes major third-party titles, such as Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Back 4 Blood, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Life is Strange, and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Unfortunately, there are no new first-party additions to the PS Plus Extra catalog this month, though Premium subscribers will get a decent serving of first-party PS1 classics in the form of Syphon Filter 3 and Hot Shots Golf 2.

The most prominent addition to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog for this month is Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition. It is a re-release of Devil May Cry 5 and features additional content, including Vergil as a playable character, ray tracing, improved graphics and performance. It also comes with a challenging new mode called Legendary Dark Knight mode, which significantly ramps up the enemy count to deliver an even more action packed experience than in the original. Lastly, Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition also adds the fan favorite Turbo mode, which, coupled with the 120Hz performance mode, delivers the most fluid gameplay seen in a Devil May Cry game.
