A new online rumor claims Rockstar Games may be preparing to release the third Grand Theft Auto VI trailer next week, potentially alongside an appearance during Sony’s upcoming State of Play presentation.
The claim comes from gaming insider “Graczdari,” who posted that GTA VI Trailer 3 is supposedly scheduled to release on Tuesday and could be announced a day earlier. According to the post, Rockstar may also have provided Sony with “a little something” related to the event’s marketing.
“If you can give me a link where I can bet 1000 euros that the third GTA VI trailer will be out on Tuesday, I’ll place the bet,” Graczdari wrote. “I might even bet it’ll be announced tomorrow, though my mates in the Sony sales department are telling me on WhatsApp to keep an eye out, as Rockstar has given Sony a little something for marketing purposes.”
The insider also clarified that the information should still be treated cautiously, adding there was a “99.9% chance” the source could simply be joking with him.
While Graczdari is still relatively new within the broader leak community, the insider has recently gained attention for several accurate claims, including reports surrounding The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered physical editions, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s reported PS5 port, and the rumored delay of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light.
The rumor has also gained additional attention after known leaker Kurakasis commented publicly on Graczdari’s credibility. “My spider-sense tells me that it’s true,” Kurakasis stated, while clarifying that he was not directly confirming the information himself.
Speculation has additionally increased because the second GTA VI trailer still contains the game’s previous May 2026 release window at the end of the video, despite Rockstar later delaying the title to November 19, 2026.
At the moment, Rockstar Games and Sony have not officially announced any new GTA VI trailer or State of Play-related appearance.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game takes place in the fictional state of Leonida, inspired heavily by Florida, and follows protagonists Jason and Lucia through a modern-day Vice City setting focused on crime, satire, social media culture, and large-scale open-world exploration.
