Secret Location In Stellar Blade May Be Teasing Future DLC Content
A secret location in Sony Interactive Entertainment and Shift Up’s action adventure game, Stellar Blade, may be teasing the arrival of future DLC content.
Stellar Blade features a locked door located just outside the survivor safe house in Matrix 11. So far, no one has been able to figure out how to open it. When trying to to examine it, Adam notes that the drone’s hacking level is not high enough to access the area. This suggests that Stellar Blade may receive new DLC content in future that will be accessible via the aforementioned door.
Furthermore, an optional mission featured in Stellar Blade has Eve meet a man in a Xion sewer tunnel who was ordered in secret to hand over a box to her, but he doesn’t mention who it’s from and there’s no in-game passcode to available open it. Another mission has Eve receive a damaged device that doesn’t appear to serve any purpose. Both of these items may be connected to future DLC.
As for whether the unannounced DLC for Stellar Blade will feature new story content remains to be seem. It it’s a more elaborate expansion that takes Eve to a brand new location, it will likely expand upon the game’s narrative and lore.
For now, though, Stellar Blade fans have plenty of other reasons to boot up the game. Update 1.006 brought brand new summer suits for protagonist Eve, and more. The prior major update was 1.004, which also brought a host of new features, including two new outfits, a new hair slot in the menu, the option to toggle the “skip” UI for cutscenes, improved direction of jumps while swinging on ropes, the ability to speed up the scrolling of the end credits by holding down a button, the ability to retain costumes that players have previously selected during Boss challenges.
