The pre-load date and download size for Rebellion Developments upcoming third-person tactical shooter, Sniper Elite: Resistance, have been revealed.
PlayStationSize on Twitter/X has revealed the pre-load date and download size for Sniper Elite: Resistance on PS4 PS5, courtesy of recent database entries made to PlayStation servers. It is also available for pre-load on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The third-person tactical shooter will take up a large amount of storage space. Those with limited available space on the internal storage drive are advised to clear up some space in advance. It goes without saying that storage expansion options are available for those who need them.

The pre-load for Sniper Elite: Resistance on PS4/PS5 will come with the latest update i.e. version 1.01/1.010.000, pre-installed for anyone who pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, though a day one update may be rolled out closer to release on January 30, 2025. Meanwhile, those who purchased the game on disc will need to download the update. Those who pre-ordered the game digitally will be able to pre-load the Deluxe Edition on January 26, 2025, and the Standard Edition on January 28, 2025.
The review embargo for Sniper Elite: Resistance is expected to be lifted close to launch day. While the exact time has not been confirmed, it will likely follow typical patterns, with the embargo lifting at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET / 9 AM CET.
