Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has reached 15 million players, publisher Focus Entertainment has announced. The company shared the milestone on social media, thanking everyone who has joined the fight since the third-person action game launched in September 2024.

“Space Marine 2 has reached 15 million players!” Focus Entertainment said in its announcement. The publisher added, “We couldn’t have hit this incredible milestone without you. To everyone who joined the fight and spread the word: thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. And welcome to our newest Space Marines. For the Emperor!”

Released on September 9, 2024, Space Marine 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment, the game continues the story of Demetrian Titus as he battles the Tyranids and Chaos forces in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

The game features a campaign with support for three-player co-op, alongside PvE Operations and competitive PvP modes. Its multiplayer offerings have also expanded through post-launch updates, which have introduced additional missions, weapons, gameplay options, and cosmetic content.

The 15 million figure represents the total number of players reached, rather than confirmed copies sold. Focus Entertainment has not provided a breakdown of the player count by platform or disclosed how many of those players remain active.
