The claim suggests Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts may be preparing to reveal more about the third and final entry in Cal Kestis’ story sooner than expected.
FivesWalker, who has recently gained a reputation for accurate information within the Star Wars Leaks community on Reddit, was asked about the status of the upcoming game. They responded, “Yes, Jedi 3 will be next year. Marketing will start to occur sooner than you think. I would bet even before TGA. Very exciting time for SW games.”
If the claim is accurate, the game’s marketing campaign could begin before The Game Awards, which would potentially put an official announcement or reveal sometime in the coming weeks or months.
Star Wars Jedi 3 is being developed by Respawn Entertainment as the concluding chapter of the Jedi trilogy. The series began with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2019 and continued with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in 2023, following Cal Kestis as he develops from a surviving Padawan into a more experienced Jedi while fighting the Galactic Empire.
FivesWalker also commented on the long-awaited Knights of the Old Republic remake when asked about its status. The insider claimed that the project is “def” still being made and suggested it could arrive in late 2027 or early 2028.
