Street Fighter 5 Update 3.04 Is Out, Here Are The Patch Notes
Capcom has released a brand new update version 3.04 for Street Fighter 5 today. Patch notes for this update mention various bug fixes and additions.
Street Fighter 5 underwent server maintenance earlier today that has implemented some minor changes. One of these is the addition of Karin’s Hokuto costume which is a Fighting Ex Layer crossover with Street Fighter V.

Players have to download this update that was released today in order to gain their hands on the new costume. This costume can only be obtained by taking part in the new Extra Battle challenge.

As mentioned in the patch notes, there are no additional fixes or balance adjustments that have been implemented in this update. It mainly deals with minor new costumes and promo skins that are now available to view in the store.

■Network Adjustments
1. As of the 2/19/2020 update, game lag would be synced during matches.
Steps have been taken to mitigate one-sided rollback, but if the connection between both players is unstable,
synchronization during temporary network delays could result in frequent pauses during matches.
One-sided rollback will be permitted during temporary fluctuations in network connections,
and other adjustments have been made to further prevent pauses when the game is attempting to sync.
Before: Changed to check opponent’s ping every second instead of an average ping over 8 seconds.
After: Rolled back the change so that the average ping over 8 seconds is calculated instead of checking ping every second.
2. Significant lag could occur immediately after the start of a match,
so matches are now synched from the beginning of round call to minimize early lag.
3. Reduced the processing load during the battle.

Battle Lounge spectators can now tell if the match they are going to spectate is a P2P or relay connection.
Street Fighter V is currently going through its last season pass that will add a final stretch of characters. Four of them are confirmed to be Dan, Rose, Oro, and Akira from Rival Schools. One of the characters has yet to be revealed. This is the 5th season pass for Street Fighter 5 and the last one as well.
