Street Fighter 6 has reached a new all-time concurrent player peak on Steam following the release of Ingrid, setting another major milestone for Capcom’s fighting game.
According to SteamDB, Street Fighter 6 climbed to 72,710 concurrent players, surpassing the previous record set only a few months ago during Alex’s launch period.
The continued growth is notable given that the game is now several years removed from its original 2023 release. Capcom has now managed to break the title’s all-time Steam player record twice within the same seasonal content cycle.
Street Fighter 6 hit the Steam player peak count shortly after Capcom released a new gameplay balance patch focused on throw interactions, Drive Gauge mechanics, and gameplay consistency improvements. The update adjusted throw escape momentum during Burnout situations, modified Recovery Drive Reversal rewards, and addressed several Super Art input issues affecting multiple characters.
Originally released in June 2023, Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game introduced the Drive Gauge combat system alongside multiple modes including traditional versus battles, online social spaces, and the single-player World Tour campaign.
