Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 has surpassed 7 million copies sold worldwide, marking another major milestone for the fighting game nearly three years after its launch.

The company shared the achievement through the official Street Fighter social media account, stating, “An achievement all thanks to you. We’re eternally grateful that Street Fighter 6 has now sold over 7 million copies worldwide!”

Since launching on June 2, 2023, Street Fighter 6 has delivered strong sales momentum for Capcom. The game attracted more than 1 million players within its first three days on the market and went on to surpass 2 million copies sold just over a month after release.

The title has continued to grow through regular post-launch support, including new fighters, gameplay updates, and ongoing esports initiatives. Capcom also expanded the game’s reach through additional platform releases, including its launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025.

Street Fighter 6 crossed the 6 million sales milestone in late 2025, and the latest announcement confirms that another million copies have been sold since then. The achievement further cements the game’s position as one of the most successful entries in the long-running fighting game franchise.

With worldwide sales now exceeding 7 million units, Street Fighter 6 remains on course toward Capcom’s previously stated goal of reaching 10 million lifetime sales, a target that would make it one of the best-selling titles in the series’ history.
