SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris Revealed For PS4, Xbox One and PC
Bandai Namco is releasing a brand new SWORD ART ONLINE game that is based on the anime series’ Alicization arc.
SWORD ART ONLINE has received at least three different games so far for the current generation platforms, and this makes it the fourth game in the series. If you haven’t been following the anime, keep in mind that the reveal trailer contains spoilers for the story and characters.

SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris is set in “Underworld,” a mysterious virtual world. Kirito will continue his journey in the virtual world of SWORD ART ONLINE and meet familiar and new characters.

The story in the game takes place after the anime so if you haven’t seen it, it might spoil the outcome of the events from the anime. The game will apparently take the player through a journey in the new mysterious Underworld, where the A.Is behaves like humans. Kirito will be able to meet encounter fan-favorite characters including Eugeo, Alice, Administrator, and many more.

Bandai Namco claims that this will be the first time players of the game will be able to faithfully follow the events of the anime series in the game. There was no release date given for SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris but it was confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
