A new unverified Tekken 8 leak circulating online claims that the final DLC fighter planned for Season 3 could be a character named “Daigo Kazama.”
The alleged leak was shared by Tekken content creator Moonsault Slayer, also known as @VolSkimmer, and reportedly originated from posts on the Tekken subreddit. According to the claims, the information was datamined from a Combo Breaker tournament test build of Tekken 8.
The leaked name appears as “風間 大悟,” which translates to “Daigo Kazama,” alongside the tagline “The Forgotten Kazama Has Returned.”
Capcom’s Rival Schools series already features a character named Daigo Kazama. If accurate, some fans believe the leak could point toward another collaboration between Bandai Namco and Capcom.
The two companies have collaborated previously through Tekken 7’s inclusion of Akuma from Street Fighter, making another crossover appearance technically possible.
Still, the leak remains entirely unverified at this stage and should be treated cautiously until Bandai Namco makes an official announcement.
Timing has added further attention to the rumor because Bandai Namco previously confirmed that Tekken 8’s final Season 3 DLC character will be officially revealed during Combo Breaker 2026. The announcement is expected to take place shortly before the Tekken 8 Top 8 Finals.
Season 3 of Tekken 8 is already set to introduce several returning fighters. Bandai Namco recently confirmed Kunimitsu will return on May 27, 2026, followed later by Bob during the summer and Roger Jr. in autumn.
The new season also includes one of the game’s largest gameplay overhauls so far, featuring more than 1,500 balance and system adjustments designed largely around reworking Tekken 8’s aggressive Heat mechanics.
With the official reveal only hours away, fans likely will not have to wait long to learn whether the rumored “Daigo Kazama” leak is genuine or simply another case of pre-event speculation.
