Naughty Dog has announced the release of The Last of Us Complete, a comprehensive package that brings together The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PlayStation 5. The digital edition is available now via the PlayStation Store, while a specially curated physical Collector’s Edition is set to launch on July 10, 2025, exclusively through PlayStation Direct.
This release is designed to offer both longtime fans and newcomers the definitive way to experience the full narrative arc of The Last of Us franchise on a single platform. It includes both rebuilt and remastered titles, optimized for the capabilities of the PlayStation 5. The first entry, The Last of Us Part I, has been fully rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5 hardware, incorporating features such as DualSense controller support and immersive 3D audio. Meanwhile, The Last of Us Part II Remastered includes a range of enhancements and bonus content, including behind-the-scenes developer commentary, previously unreleased “Lost Levels,” the new roguelike survival mode No Return, Guitar Free Play, and more.
The forthcoming Collector’s Edition includes a Steelbook case featuring newly commissioned artwork that reflects the emotional core and humanity of the series. It contains physical discs of both titles with new minimalist designs, and a collection of lithographs created by artists selected by Naughty Dog to represent key themes and characters from the games.
Neil Druckmann, Head of Studio and Head of Creative at Naughty Dog, expressed gratitude to the community, noting that The Last of Us Complete is a celebration of the franchise’s legacy and its fans. He acknowledged the long-standing support and personal stories shared by players as a continued source of inspiration for the studio.
