The Witcher 3 will be one of the games that will get announced for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass in November. More third-party games are also expected.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that offers close to 200 first and third-party games with a subscription plan. It helps developers or publishers to drive growth and interest towards their game and the program has been incredibly successful for Microsoft as well. They made a bold move of putting their first-party games on it at launch which has led to higher user engagement in the games at launch.
The popularity of the Xbox Game Pass is quite evident with one of the major announcements regarding the Xbox Game Pass November lineup. CD Projekt Red will be released their incredibly popular game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, for Xbox Game Pass. This announcement is expected to happen at the X019 fan fest which is being held in London.
The announcement was spotted on reddit through a Twitch ad that was leaked during a stream. It shows some of the games that are already available on the Xbox Game Pass including Devil May Cry 5 and The Outer Worlds. One of the games is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which doesn’t really have any release date or official announcement for Xbox Game Pass.
Niko Partners Analyst Daniel Ahmed expects more third-party announcements during Microsoft’s X019 fan fest in London. Apparently one of the big focus during the fan fest is for Xbox Game Pass and The Witcher 3 is just one of the many third-party games to get an announcement there.
Microsoft hasn’t officially confirmed the full lineup for Xbox Game Pass in November. They should be able to deliver more news on it soon as the fan fest starts today.
