15 Minutes Of Astro Bot Gameplay Has Been Leaked, Cameos Revealed

15 minutes of gameplay as well as details regarding cameos in Sony Interactive Entertainment and Team Asobi’s upcoming 3D platformer, Astro Bot, have been leaked.

It turns out that someone got their hands on a copy of the 3D platformer early, and managed to upload a substantial amount of gameplay footage on YouTube. The video has since been removed, though it has been re-hosted elsewhere, and can be seen below. The leaked gameplay footage reveals several of the cameos featured in Astro Bot. Those who wish to head in spoiler-free should stop reading here.

The gameplay footage reveals that Astro Bot features a main hub, where all the bots are gathered. Some larger bots such as Trico and Tallneck from the Horizon series can also be seen. There’s a button available to switch to a “Space Map”. The map in the footage has two dessert biomes, one tropical and the other ice themed. Entering new sections of the main hub and accessing new levels requires a certain number of bots to be rescued. After you have gathered the required amount, you’ll be able to build a bridge with them to cross to a new area.

The cameo appearances seen in the leaked Astro Bot gameplay footage include Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter Alpha, Ulala from Space Channel 5, Kat and Raven from Gravity Rush, Octodad, Aigis from Persona 3, Teddie from Persona 4, Joker from Persona 5, Cole from inFamous, Sly Cooper, Dante from Devil May Cry, Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Jill and Chris from Resident Evil, Leon from Resident Evil 2, Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear, Klonoa, Prince of all Cosmos from Katamari Damacy, Buzz from Buzz Quiz TV, Toro and Kuro, Spyro from Spyro the Dragon, Amaterasu from Okami, Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Knack, Jak from Jak and Daxter, Arthur from Ghosts n Goblins, Kazuya from Tekken, Lammy from Un Jammer Lammy, Raiden, Gray Fox and Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid, Pyramid Head from Silent Hill, Dart from Legend of Dragoon, Alundra, Jaster from Rogue Galaxy, Cat from Stray, and Rudy from Wild Arms.
