Activision and Beenox have updated Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled to version 1.18. This update is mainly related to some minor bug fixes.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled update 1.18 launched today for PS4 and Xbox One. It follows the last major content update that added a new Grand Prix, Rustland, to the game. In addition to the Grand Prix, a new character and track were also added to the game. There is still some post-launch support planned for the game.

Beenox is now following up this update with a patch that seems to be rather large in size, weighing in at more than 2 GB on the PS4 and 5 GB on the Xbox One. This update is mostly for bug fixes as listed in the official patch notes.
While Activision or Beenox have no official list of changes for this update, users on reddit have noticed the following modifications in the game.
- The intro has been updated to reflect Best Racing Game award that was given at TGA 2019
- The theme for some of the new characters has been fixed
The new update doesn’t seem to add anything major but it is also possible that this is merely a precursor to another future patch. This update is currently not available to download for the Nintendo Switch but that might change as the patch can be delayed on Nintendo’s hybrid console.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled launched last May for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game is a remake of the PS1 classic that was originally developed by Naughty Dog. There are currently 50 playable racers in the game, some of which were added with post-launch content updates that also unlocked new Grand Prix events.
