Square Enix has released the Final Fantasy 7 Remake dynamic PS4 theme featuring Tifa for free. It was a part of Butterfinger’s promotion during launch.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake has received many themes so far including a Cloud theme, pre-order theme, Sephiroth theme, and a demo theme. In addition to all these themes for the PS4, there was an additional launch theme that was given as part of a promotion with Butterfinger. This theme featured Tifa with a dynamic background and it was worth the promotion price, at least at launch.

In order for users to grab this theme, they had to buy two Final Fantasy VII-themed Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, or Crunch bars. They would have received a code for the theme this way and it was the only method to get the theme until today. This theme was only available as part of this promotion in North America but this seems to have ended for now.
Square Enix has made the Tifa theme available free of cost on the PlayStation Store. It is currently available in the Japanese PlayStation Store but there is a good chance it might be available in other regions as well. If you are interested in grabbing the theme since it is free, you can either create a Japanese PSN account–which is not that hard, to be honest–or you can wait for the theme to come out on your regional store.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available now exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game is confirmed to be a timed exclusive for the PS4 and will arrive on other platforms one year after the launch of the PS4 version. The developers have already confirmed that a sequel is in development and shared details on how many parts they plan to make for this remake.
