E3 2019: Ninja Theory’s Upcoming Game Bleeding Edge Has Leaked

by Ali Haider

Bleeding Edge is an upcoming online multiplayer brawler from Ninja Theory. It has been leaked ahead of the official announcement that was supposed to happen during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference.

Bleeding Edge is a name that was trademarked earlier by Ninja Theory. It was originally believed to be their new IP after Hellblade: Senua’ Sacrifice, however, it was a brand new genre for them instead of the single player and narrative focused games that they are known for in the past.

Bleeding Edge was leaked along with a promotional trailer that also has a glimpse of gameplay. It is a 4vs4 online melee game with a focus on combat action. It has different heroes with their own distinct personality and skills which will form up in a team of 4vs4 players.

While there is not much known about Bleeding Edge aside from this trailer, which was posted by Xboxer SK, the game will be revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2019 media briefing next week.

Ninja Theory was acquired by Microsoft and officially announced as part of the Microsoft Game Studios during E3 2018. They had released Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to critical acclaim and were also working on their own projects.

Bleeding Edge is an IP that they have been apparently working on for a few years so its reveal has nothing to do with Microsoft. It is not even an exclusive if we go by the rumors and will supposedly launch on multiple platforms.

Bleeding Edge will also get a technical alpha test on June 27, which is a part of the leaked trailer as seen here. The release date of the game itself wasn’t mentioned in the trailer so we have to wait and see how it all plays out during the upcoming E3.
