Apex Legends Season 2 Release Date, New Legend, Weapon, and Battle Pass Details

Respawn Entertainment and EA has revealed Apex Legends Season 2 with details on the new Legend, Weapon and Battle Pass. They have also confirmed a release date for it.

As it was teased earlier, Apex Legends Season 2 has a new Battle Pass. Respawn Entertainment has also revealed a new Legend and Weapon that will be a part of the upcoming Season 2.

There are two major additions for the upcoming Season 2 which includes Wattson, a new playable Legend, and Weapon L-Star, which is an energy-based light machine gun. You can find out more details through the official website.

  • New Legend: Wattson – She may look sweet, but underestimate her and you’re in for a shock.
  • New Weapon: L-Star – Bring the fire with this energy-based light machine gun.
  • Improved Battle Pass – Discover some of the ways the next Battle Pass is going to be even bigger and better.

During EA Play 2019 event today, the developers had shared an introduction video and also given details on the abilities and background for this new Legend which will join the game on July 2.

Wattson appears to focus more on the technical side as she has the tactical ability: Perimeter Security, which lets her “connect nodes to create electrified fences that damage and slow enemies.” Her passive ability is called Spark of Genius which lets her charge for her ultimate and even tactical ability. Finally, her ultimate ability is called Interception Pylon which stops any offensive attack and also repairs the shield with a max limit of 3.

You will be able to enjoy all of this new content when Apex Legends Season 2 launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on July 2. The game is free-to-play but you can purchase the Battle Pass to easily gain access to all the new content offered with the upcoming Season 2. Respawn Entertainment also revealed gameplay footage for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order today during EA Play 2019 event.
