Bayonetta 3 Reportedly Has A Release Date Of October 28, 2022
Bayonetta 3, the hotly anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusive from Platinum Games, reportedly has a release date of October 28, 2022. The game has not been seen since its gameplay reveal back in September, 2021.
According to Twitter user Syluxhunter2, Bayonetta 3 will be released on October 28, 2022. The same individual has correctly leaked some of the contents shown in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase before the event.

Nintendo has yet to announce its first-party lineup for Fall 2022, and another Nintendo Direct is expected to happen later this year in this regard. Giantbomb’s Jeff Grubb claims that he’s been told quite definitively that the rumored Metroid Prime Remaster is going to be one of Nintendo’s big holiday games, and that it’ll likely be announced during a Nintendo Direct sometime soon that focuses on Nintendo’s 1st-party games for Fall season of 2022.
It’s likely that Bayonetta 3 is one of the games featured during this rumored Nintendo Direct, and a release date announcement may also be likely, given that the game has been in development for quite some time. Previously, it was also seen that the launch schedule of Nintendo Switch releases in Japan for the remainder of 2022 includes Bayonetta 3.
Bayonetta 3 is the third entry in the popular character action game series developed by PlatinumGames. It is set for release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Reggie Fils-Aimé, the former president and COO of Nintendo of America, teased the game during The Game Awards 2017 before making the official announcement.
Despite not being prepared to reveal much at the time, Yoshiaki Koizumi assured fans during a Nintendo Direct presentation that the game’s production was proceeding without issues. In the end, the game was finally revealed to the public on September, 2021. A 2022 release date was revealed along with the first ever gameplay footage.
