According to a new rumor that comes from Tom Henderson, Rockstar Games were working on an announcement for Bully 2 during The Game Awards 2021.

In a series of tweets, Tom Henderson mentions hearing about an announcement for Bully 2 that was planned for The Game Awards 2021, but it was pulled closer to the show’s planned launch.

“Bully 2 was expected as a potential surprise reveal at #TheGameAwards last week after some people have been shown some material alluding to a reveal soon, ” reads a tweet from Tom Henderson. “Information is a bit blurry at the moment, and I have to be quite vague here, but if I hear more I will report on it.”

“Some people saw a ‘Playable version’ just a couple of weeks prior to TGA (not the canned version). Like I said – Information is blurry atm. But I thought it was worth reporting on as there’s something definitely ‘going on’ to do with the series.”

Tom also points towards a tweet from the associate editor at GameInformer which subtly teased at a Bully 2 announcement, but according to a video editor at GameInformer, this was not the case and the tweet was misinterpreted.

Tom later adds that if people are in doubt, they should look at the outlets that are covering this news to determine if some of them are under NDA to not talk about it. Just to be clear, Twisted Voxel is not one of them if you were curious.

This is not the first time we have heard about a sequel to Bully. It was apparently in production at some point with Rockstar Games but that version was canned and it is likely that the development had rebooted.
