Capcom has announced its lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2026, with Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, Pragmata, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Street Fighter 6 among the games appearing at the event.
The publisher will also showcase Mega Man: Dual Override with a Japan-first playable appearance. Several of the games will have playable demos available on the show floor, giving attendees an opportunity to try upcoming content and recently announced titles.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance will receive its first global playable demo, featuring new monster encounters and gameplay mechanics. Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen will also be playable, while Pragmata will feature an updated hands-on demo.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword will offer a playable demonstration focused on its sword combat, although access to the demo will be restricted to visitors aged 18 and over following ID verification. Street Fighter 6 will also have a dedicated floor setup featuring recent DLC characters and competitive updates.
Capcom is also bringing several special attractions to Tokyo Game Show. Monster Hunter Outlanders will have a playable demo featuring the Kuchihate no Fuchi region, including gliders, ziplines and hunts against monsters such as Radiant Radobaan and Azure Rathalos.
A Resident Evil themed airsoft shooting range will be hosted with Tokyo Marui, with participation restricted to visitors aged 18 and over. Capcom will also hold a Street Fighter movie exhibition featuring screen-used costumes from the upcoming live-action film, alongside a life-sized Zangief photo area.
Capcom Spotlight Announced For September 16
Capcom will begin its Tokyo Game Show activities with a Capcom Spotlight broadcast on September 16 at 7:00 AM PDT. The 40-minute pre-recorded presentation will be subtitled in 13 languages and will feature the latest news on Capcom titles, including gameplay footage, release dates and major announcements.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Business Days are scheduled for September 17 and 18, followed by Public Days from September 19 through September 21.
