Dying Light 2 Update 1.01 Patch Notes and File Size Details
Dying Light 2 has already received its day one update that patches the game to version 1.01. The final file size of the game has also been revealed.
We had reported on the file size of the game already, but the day one patch has increased it a little. As reported by PlayStation Game Size, the file size of the game since the release of the 1.01 update now stands at 32.5 GB in the US and 30.8 GB in the EU.
The day one update is approximately 9 to 10 GB which means if you purchase the retail version of the game, you will need to download this update. If you buy the game digitally, it will already be included in the pre-load once it is available so there won’t be any need to download any further data.

Optimization, tweaks and bug fixes.
The file size might not be that large on the PS5, but the PC hard disk requirements suggest that it could be due to compression. The PC specs reveal 60 GB of hard disk space as a requirement which is almost twice the size of the PS5 version even with the day one patch.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be available on February 4, 2022, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The game is also coming to the Nintendo Switch but it can only be played in the form of a Cloud version.
