In its review of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Edge states that the DLC is FromSoftware at its finest. The sheer variety of builds now available means that, when stuck, players will question often their choice of weapon and armor. The new realm rewards those who stick to their decisions, a principle deeply rooted in its world. Expanding Elden Ring brought numerous challenges, from balancing its economy and systems to managing expectations. The developer met said challenges wonderfully, catching the firelight in different ways depending on how players approach it, but always dazzling in doing so.

As for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, the publication states that it captures and communicates the essence of Destiny more clearly than ever. It’s a culmination of ten years of evolution, revisited and retold. Some bugs, lengthy challenges, and puzzling balance decisions persist, but this is quintessentially Destiny. The Final Shape validates the efforts of both players and developers, affirming that Bungie is ready to lead the game into an even brighter future.
