Get These Five Free Xbox Live Gold Games With a Simple Trick
Xbox Live Gold is region-free which can be beneficial if you want to claim some of the free bonus games like the one being offered today.
Microsoft is offering these games in Japan and Argentina as part of the Xbox Live Gold promotion. All you need is an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription in order to claim them. All of these are Xbox 360 games so unfortunately there are not a lot of big names. Still, free is free, so there is no harm in grabbing them to add to your games library.
- de Blob 2 – Store Link (Japan)
- Stacking – Store Link (Japan)
- Costume Quest – Store Link (Japan)
- Ikaruga – Store Link (Argentina)
- Sensible World of Soccer – Store Link (Korea)
The method of getting them for free is quite simple. Just click on the given link and then when prompted, choose to stay in the regional account (Japan, Argentina, Korea) for them to show up as free. It must be mentioned that you should be signed into the store before attempting to open these links.
If you have been an Xbox Live Gold member for a long time, chances are that you will already own some of these games. In our case, we did check out and a few showed up as already being free, while the rest of them were easily claimed and added to our games library. Recently, there has been a rumor that Xbox Live could face a title change to Xbox Network.
This is obviously not the first time a game from a region is available for free. We have covered such freebies in the past as well, but this is the largest batch of free games that we have covered so far and some of them are actually decent like de Blob 2, Stacking, and Costume Quest. Your mileage might vary.
