Microsoft has announced the Xbox Live Games With Gold lineup for the month of May 2022. Take a look at all the new additions from here.
Xbox Live Games With Gold program is still going on even though it has been long overshadowed by Xbox Game Pass. Each month, Microsoft releases two Xbox 360 games and two Xbox One games. All of these games are usually backward compatible so they can be played on any of the modern Xbox consoles.
For May 2022, Games With Gold will offer the following lineup.
- Yoku’s Island Express ($19.99 ERP): Available May 1 to 31
- The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk ($19.99 ERP): Available May 16 to June 15
- Hydro Thunder Hurricane ($9.99 ERP): Available May 1 to 15
- Viva Piñata Party Animals ($9.99 ERP): Available May 16 to 31
In terms of actual value, the lineup next month doesn’t appear to amount to a whole lot. The games offered are decent though, although one of them is a repeat. Hydro Thunder Hurricane has been previously offered to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers in 2017.
For the Xbox 360 games, if you redeem them on your account, they are yours to keep forever. For the Xbox One games, they will be available until your subscription expires.
Xbox Live Gold is also a part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bundle so if you want to avail all of these services in a bundle, Game Pass Ultimate is the way to go for it.
