GTA V and GTA V Enhanced Receive Stability and Ray Tracing Fixes in May 6 Update

by Ali Haider

Rockstar Games has rolled out a new update on May 6 for both GTA V (PC) and GTA V Enhanced, delivering a series of critical bug fixes and performance improvements. The May 6 patch targets multiple technical issues, including Microsoft account communication problems, missing in-game phone calls, and various graphical anomalies. These adjustments aim to improve the overall stability and gameplay consistency across different modes and story missions.

For GTA V Enhanced players, the update notably resolves issues with ray tracing performance, missing or stretched textures, and environmental audio glitches. A problematic mission bug in ‘By the Book’ that previously affected players running the game at high frame rates has also been fixed. Additionally, lighting settings have been clarified to better explain their visual impact. This update continues Rockstar’s effort to polish the experience across legacy and next-gen platforms.
