Wild Hearts is an action role-playing game developed by Omega Force and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on February 17, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is set in Azuma, a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan, Players take on the role of a nameless hunter tasked with tracking and defeating enormous beasts known as Kemono. Azuma is composed of multiple large, explorable regions rather than a seamless open world. Wild Hearts offers eight distinct weapon types, including the wagasa and katana. In addition to traditional combat, players can utilize the Karakuri system to construct various tools to aid in battle. These constructs can also be combined to form larger structures, such as a bulwark that obstructs an enemy’s path.
