Bethesda Game Studios and MachineGames’ upcoming action adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, is set for release on PS5 during the first half of 2025, based on the latest rumor.
Insider and content creator Nate the Hate took to Twitter/X to share that, as per their information, MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release on Xbox & PC this holiday in December as a timed console exclusive, after which it is planned to arrive on PS5 in the first half of 2025.
This isn’t the first we’ve heard of the possibility of MachineGames’ upcoming action adventure game being released on PS5. The Xbox Two podcast co-host Jez Corden had recently shared similar information. According to him, Indiana Jones And The Great Circle is the rumored Xbox first-party exclusive set to be announced for PS5 next week.
Corden pointed out that Microsoft doesn’t own the Indiana Jones IP, and that Disney may have had a hand in the potential upcoming announcement of a PlayStation version. He later updated his post by clarifying that the chance of a PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is “large”, suggesting that more than one source may have verified the rumor to him. He also addressed the recent rumor regarding Microsoft’s alleged announcement having something to do with Forza Horizon 5. According to Corden, Playground Games’ racing game likely isn’t the title being announced next week, though he added that it doesn’t mean it won’t ever be ported. While he said it would make a lot of money on PlayStation, he believes now is not the time Microsoft has in mind for the announcement of that port.
Multiple sources had recently claimed that a major Xbox first-party exclusive will soon be making its way over to PS5. The first source, Reset Era member and known insider, shinobi602, claimed that the announcement is expected to happen next week.
