Kirby and the Forgotten Land has received a brand new trailer from Nintendo that appears to showcase a new Mouthful mode allowing Kirby to gobble anything.
Kirby usually can suck anyone in and eat them to gain their abilities, but this is perhaps the first time in the series history that Kirby is not only able to eat the enemies but also an object like a car. This was demonstrated in the latest Nintendo Direct.
When Kirby eats these objects, she enters what Nintendo is calling a Mouthful mode. This allows her to replicate the abilities of these objects including a car and a vending machine.
Some of the objects that were shown during the gameplay video include a car, vending machine, cone, scissor-lift, ring, light-bulb, and so on.
A new trailer for Kirby’s latest unforgettable 3D platforming adventure introduced Mouthful Mode! With Mouthful Mode, Kirby can inhale real-world objects and transform into a car to zoom around, a vending machine to attack with juice cans … or even become a piercing cone, to name just a few examples. If Kirby evolves his copy abilities at Waddle Dee’s Weapons Shop, which is located in Waddle Dee Town, his appearance will change and he’ll become even more powerful. Can Kirby rescue the Waddle Dees and restore peace to this mysterious world?
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is currently set to launch on March 25, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch. You can currently pre-order from the Nintendo eShop.
