Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Best Settings Guide For PC

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is now available on PC, and, given the large number of available graphics settings to tinker with, we’ve put together the best settings for getting optimized performance.

Before we delve into the best settings for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, make sure you’ve updated your GPU drivers and Windows to their latest respective versions. Additionally, disable or close any unnecessary background applications in order to reduce the CPU overhead as much as possible. The settings below should provide a more optimized balance between graphics and frame rate compared to the presets available in-game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Best Settings

The settings below are there to serve as a broad starting point for further optimization based on your specific hardware specs. As a result, you may need to tweak some settings until you find a sweet spot based on your display’s refresh rate and the overall performance you seek.

DISPLAY MENU

  • Window Mode: Fullscreen
  • Display Resolution: On a 4K display:
    • Mid-range GPU: 1440p for targeting 60fps, 1080p for targeting 120fps
    • High-end GPU: 2160p for targeting 60fps, 1440p for targeting 120fps
  • Refresh rate: Depends on your display and preference (see above)
  • VSYNC: Enabled (full refresh rate) on non-VRR/G-sync display, Disabled on VRR/G-sync display
    HDR Max Luminance: On an HDR display, set the value (in nits) based on your display’s peak brightness value on a 10% window
  • Anti-Aliasing: TAA, or Temporal anti-aliasing
  • Upscale Method: NVIDIA DLSS on supported Nvidia GPUs or AMD FSR 2.0 on AMD and DLSS non-compliant Nvidia GPUs
  • Upscale Quality: Dynamic
  • Dynamic Resolution Scaling: On, (the target frame rate depends on your display and preference)

GRAPHICS MENU

  • Texture Quality: Very High (drop to High if VRAM is below 8 GB)
  • Texture Filtering: 8x on mid-range GPU, 16x on high-end GPU
  • Shadow Quality: Medium to High, depending on target frame rate
  • Ambient Occlusion: SSAO
  • Screen Space Reflections: On
  • Ray-traced Reflections: On
    • Reflection Resolution: High
    • Geometry Detail: High
    • Object Range: 6 to 8, depending on the CPU specs and target frame rate
  • Level of Detail: High
  • Traffic Density: Low
  • Crowd Density: Low to Medium, depending on the CPU specs and target frame rate
  • Hair Quality: Medium (not particularly noticeable outside of cutscenes and close-range)
  • Weather particle quality: Low
  • Depth of Field: On
    • Quality: Low
  • Field of View: set according to preference and display aspect ratio
  • Motion Blur: 1
  • Bloom: On
  • Lens Flares: On
