Capcom has revealed Cook Man as the fourth Robot Master in Mega Man: Dual Override, introducing a new boss who combines martial arts with cooking techniques. The character joins the growing roster of enemies in the upcoming 2D action-platformer, which is scheduled to launch in spring 2027.

Cook Man uses a fighting style described as “Kung Fu Cooking”, mixing food preparation techniques with flame-based attacks. The character is portrayed as a wandering chef obsessed with cooking and determined to earn recognition for his abilities.

The latest reveal brings the number of confirmed Robot Masters in Mega Man: Dual Override to four. Cook Man joins Jet Man, an aerial combat specialist, Tank Man, a heavy-duty petroleum manager, and Twinkle Girl. Capcom has confirmed that the roster features original creations alongside a design submitted by a fan.

Mega Man: Dual Override is the twelfth mainline entry in Capcom’s long-running franchise, with its release planned to coincide with the series’ 40th anniversary. The game retains the traditional 2D action-platforming format while introducing new gameplay mechanics.

Players will be able to control both Mega Man and Proto Man as they fight rogue robotic units that have gone haywire. The game also introduces Override, a new mechanic that temporarily boosts the characters’ abilities during combat.

Capcom plans to release Mega Man: Dual Override on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
