The latest update for Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection introduces Krossplay, allowing players across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC to compete in online matches. This long-requested feature expands both Quick Play and Online Arcade modes, making cross-platform matchmaking far more accessible through shared room codes.
In addition, the update enables 2-on-2 online matches in select titles and introduces Variable Refresh Rate support for compatible platforms. Several bug fixes and small improvements have also been implemented, addressing connection indicators, replay issues, and localization inconsistencies.

Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection, developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Atari, launched digitally on October 30, 2025. It is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The April 28, 2026 update introduces Krossplay, 2 on 2 online matches, and VRR support.
