Furthermore, the insider mentioned that there is also a project in development at Nintendo with the codename Anna. She added that the codename for Nintendo Switch Sports was Elsa, so the new title may be a successor of some sort.

Regarding the Legend of Zelda spin-off, there may be a connection with prior rumor that suggests Nintendo is working on a game with Zelda as the main character. The hint was dropped via a hidden message in insider GenosPapa‘s tweet. The aforementioned tweet read, “Tears of the kingdom Had a great zelda design I think we are Severely overdue for a game where zelda Is the main character. Seems to me A Hyrule adventure like that Is something fans want, Nows The time.” Certain alphabets in this passage are deliberately written in capital, and putting them together reveals the message, “THIS IS A HINT”.

While it’s always difficult to determine the validity of a rumor, it’s worth mentioning that the same individual had previously leaked details regarding the Metroid Prime Remaster prior to its official announcement. The Legend of Zelda fans previously had the chance to play as Zelda in Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s hack-and-slash game, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
