ATLUS has announced that Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival will be released on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing two of the publisher’s major upcoming RPGs to Nintendo’s latest console. The announcement was made during today’s Nintendo Direct, with Persona 4 Revival confirmed to launch on Switch 2 on May 20, 2027.
Persona 4 Revival is a remake of the acclaimed RPG Persona 4 and will revisit the rural town of Inaba. Players take on the role of a teenage transfer student who becomes involved with a group of friends investigating a series of strange murders connected to the mysterious Midnight Channel.
The remake will first launch on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, and Steam on February 18, 2027. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow several months later on May 20.
Persona 6, meanwhile, represents the next mainline entry in the long-running JRPG franchise. ATLUS says the game will retain the series’ combination of everyday life and supernatural adventure while introducing a standalone story and an entirely new cast of characters.
Persona 6 will launch on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will also be available at launch through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass and will support Xbox Play Anywhere.
The two Persona games join Metaphor: ReFantazio as ATLUS titles coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Metaphor: ReFantazio will arrive on Nintendo’s console on November 12, 2026, giving Switch 2 owners another major ATLUS RPG to look forward to later this year.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is set in a fantasy kingdom facing imminent collapse, with players tasked with overcoming the challenges threatening the realm while building relationships with allies. The game is already available on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
For Persona 4 Revival, the Nintendo Switch 2 release is currently the only version with a later launch date than the other platforms. Pre-orders for the Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, and Steam versions are already open.
ATLUS has not provided a release date for Persona 6 beyond confirming its Nintendo Switch 2 release alongside the previously announced platforms.
