Sony has announced a new range of PlayStation Plus perks, giving subscribers access to additional offers, free trials, and discounts from PlayStation, Sony, and selected partners. The benefits are included with an active PlayStation Plus membership at no additional cost.
The announcement was shared through the official PlayStation UK Instagram account, which encouraged subscribers to visit PlayStation.com to explore the available offers.
The promotional image, titled “Get more from your membership,” advertises “free trials and savings on streaming, sports and more.” It features several major brands, including Sony, DAZN, PlayStation, YouTube Premium, Audible, Sony Pictures Core, and Calm.
The new PlayStation Plus perks appear to expand the subscription’s benefits beyond gaming, with offers covering entertainment, streaming, and other services.
PlayStation Plus is available across three subscription tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. All three provide access to monthly downloadable games, exclusive PlayStation Store discounts, cloud storage for saved data, and online multiplayer on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
PlayStation Plus Extra adds a catalog of hundreds of downloadable PS4 and PS5 games, while Premium includes access to classic titles from previous PlayStation generations.
Premium subscribers also receive additional features, including cloud streaming for select PS5 games and time-limited full-game trials. Its classic games library covers titles from the original PlayStation, PS2, PSP, and PS3, with PS3 games available through streaming.
Sony has not clarified whether the newly announced partner offers are available across all three membership tiers or whether eligibility differs by region. The announcement also does not provide specific start or expiration dates for the promotions.
