PS Plus users can enjoy these two new free games that will be available on their subscription service starting in May 2019. This is a completely different games lineup from PS Plus Asia and Japan, where the two games are Metal Gear Survive, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, and The Witness.
For those who have a PS Plus subscription either in the United States or Europe, they will have to make do with Overcooked! and What Remains of Edith Finch. Both of these games are quite excellent in their own right.
Overcooked! is a fun co-op puzzle game that involves cooking but without all the tedious preparation that comes with it. What Remains of Edith Finch is a narrative-focused first-person story game that tells the tragic story of the Finch family. Both of these are quite solid games on their own for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
If you have bought PS+ subscription recently, Sony actually reduced the number of games by removing the free offer for PS3 and PS Vita, so instead of six games every month, now PS+ subscribers can only get two of them for their PS4.
Sony still hasn’t managed to improve the quality of their PlayStation Plus free games lineup despite reducing the number of games, but most will say that quality is subjective.
All of these games will be available on the PS Plus subscription service beginning on May 6th. You can grab them either through the official PlayStation Store or by purchasing them directly from the PlayStation 4.
