Sony has just released a minor PS4 firmware update version 11.00 that appears to bring small changes to the consoles.
The system software will update the console to version 11.00 and along with the new PS5 update, it appears to deal with some minor improvements and fixes. It is now possible to sign into the PS4 through the PS App. There are also other changes included as well like the improvements made to the messages and usability on some screens.

Since the PS4 has been succeeded by the PS5, the frequency of its updates and features have slowed down. It likely remains minor upgrades will continue that could patch out any exploit or add compatibility support for some of the apps that are released by Sony.
