PS5 Firmware Update 24.02-09 Released, Here Is The Changelog
Sony has rolled out a new system software update for the PlayStation 5 today. Firmware update 24.02-09 for the PS5 adds DualSense controller sound enhancements, Share Screen interactions and brings some improvements to system performance.
Firmware update 24.02-09 aims to enhance the user experience on PS5. The updated system software enables the DualSense controller speakers to produce higher volume sound, allowing players to hear in-game sounds and voice chat audio more clearly. The mic input quality has also been enhanced by a new AI machine learning model. Additionally, background noise from button presses and game audio is reduced for improved voice chat. After the update, players may notice that sounds from their controller speaker are louder. Adjustments to the volume can be made via the control center.
