Sony has started to bring a new feature called PS5 Game Trials. This is currently available for Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut.
These PS5 game trials allow you to play the game without any restrictions for up to six hours. They are basically re-imagined from an earlier concept of the game trials which allowed users to play one hour of a game.
While the length of the playtime has increased from one to six hours now, this also counts the time it takes to download these games, so you need super-fast internet to take advance of this offer. However, there is a trick that lets you download the game without wasting time.
Basically, as detailed by a user on reddit, this method requires you to make an alternative account that has the same region as your primary account. Use this account to download the game on your console and then simply play it by logging into your primary account.
This method should work fine for now but if Sony adds the restriction that these trials are only playable for PS Plus subscribers, then you might be out of luck. For now, this method can be used to play six hours of Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut.
