ATLUS has officially announced that RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will release on June 19, 2025, bringing the cult-classic action RPG Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army back for a new generation. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S, with physical editions confirmed for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X.
A Classic Reimagined with Modern Features
Originally released on PlayStation 2, RAIDOU Remastered preserves the core experience of the original while introducing significant improvements. The remaster features an overhauled battle system, enhanced visuals, and full voice acting for the main story. Quality-of-life updates have also been implemented to refine gameplay mechanics, making it a smoother experience for both returning fans and newcomers.
Players will step into the role of Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, a detective who also serves as a Devil Summoner, tasked with protecting the Capital from supernatural threats. The story begins when a mysterious heiress visits the Narumi Detective Agency with an unusual request—to be killed. Before any answers can be found, she is kidnapped, launching Raidou into an investigation that leads him through both the real world and the dangerous Dark Realm, a domain filled with demons. What starts as a missing persons case soon unravels into a conspiracy with nationwide consequences.
Pre-Orders, Special Editions, and Fan Campaigns
Pre-orders for RAIDOU Remastered are now open, with those who reserve a copy receiving the “Raidou Glasses” bonus, allowing players to equip the detective with a stylish pair of Taisho-era glasses in-game.
A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available for $64.99, including bonus content such as extra demons, training missions, and survival packs. Additionally, ATLUS has announced the development of a Collector’s Edition, which will be offered through Limited Run Games, with further details to be shared later.
As part of the launch celebrations, ATLUS has introduced a unique fan-driven initiative. A title recruitment campaign allows players to submit custom titles for Raidou, which will be implemented as free DLC after the game’s release. This campaign is hosted on ATLUS West’s official social media channels.
ATLUS also aired a special premiere titled The Return of Raidou Kuzunoha | World Spotlight, which featured a first look at the game, insights into its development, and an interview with Game Director Kazuyuki Yamai.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will be available with both English and Japanese voiceovers, alongside subtitle support for multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and both simplified and traditional Chinese.
