Rayman Legends Retold Pricing and Release Date Reportedly Leak Ahead of Reveal

by Salal Awan

New details regarding Ubisoft’s rumored Rayman Legends Retold have reportedly surfaced online ahead of its official announcement. According to information shared by Dealabs, the project is being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind the original Rayman Legends, rather than Ubisoft Milan as some previous rumors had suggested.

The report claims that Rayman Legends Retold will introduce online cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. The original release supported co-op play locally, making online multiplayer one of the most significant reported additions in this new version.

Dealabs also states that the game is scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026. A physical edition is reportedly planned, though it will only be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Details regarding the exact contents of the physical release remain unknown. A separate launch edition featuring bonus content is also said to be planned through selected retailers worldwide.

According to the leak, Ubisoft is expected to officially unveil the game and open pre-orders no later than June 2 at approximately 10 a.m. French time. The report notes that this timeline would place the announcement before Sony’s State of Play presentation, though Dealabs cautions that its confidence level on the reveal timing is not absolute.

The report further claims that Rayman Legends Retold will be priced at $39.99 in the United States. While European pricing has not reportedly been finalized, Dealabs believes it will likely be set at €39.99. If accurate, the game would launch at the same price point as 2017’s Rayman Legends Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch.

As of now, Ubisoft has not officially announced Rayman Legends Retold, and all details should be treated as rumor until confirmed by the publisher.
