Resident Evil 2 Game Length Revealed: How Long Will It Take To Beat Resident Evil 2?

Resident Evil 2 full game length has been revealed. Find out how long it will take you to beat this masterpiece.

Capcom has shared the full Resident Evil 2 game length and how long it will take you to beat each story campaign in Resident Evil 2 by playing as either Leon or Claire.

The original Resident Evil 2 was a short game but it offered multiple endings. The replay value was good so technically even if you can finish it in under six hours, there was more to do the second time by picking up an alternative scenario for the ending.

Resident Evil 2 Story Length and Chapters: How Long Will It Take To Beat Resident Evil 2?

In the case of Resident Evil 2 remake, the game length will be longer but possibly at the cost of replay value. According to the game producers at a recent fan event, the game is reportedly 10 hours long for each character’s story campaign. It will take you a total of 20 hours to beat the full Resident Evil 2 story if you play as both Leon and Claire.

That’s not it though, as apparently there are more playable characters that will be in the game like Hunt and Tofu. We don’t have many details about them, but they have been teased recently. Ada can also end up being playable as seen in some of the trailers for the game.

Resident Evil 2 remake has received a limited time one-shot demo that is available right now. You can download it to get a taste of the full game before it launches on January 25, 2019. If you are stuck and want to complete it quickly while discovering secrets, there is a guide to help you accomplish it easily.

If you don’t mind spoilers, Resident Evil 2 weapons, characters, and playable modes were leaked through the datamine of the game files. Due to the 30 minutes limit for the demo, not many people have managed to complete it.

While it is fun to speculate about the game length, the release date is not that far so it is only a matter of patience before the game drops on January 25, 2019. You can grab a copy on your preferred platform from the PS4, PC, or Xbox One, and then get into the nightmarish journey of Leon, Claire and others as they visit an infected Racoon City.
