Resident Evil Village Early Copies Are Out, Day One Patch Size Revealed
Resident Evil Village retail copies have apparently leaked online and details on the day one patch as well as the install size have been revealed.
Resident Evil Village retail copies were spotted in Australia. Images from the final box art were shared on social media sites like Twitter. The install size of the game without any update is roughly 27 GB on the PS5.
As for the update size, it is currently live for the PS4 and patches the game to version 1.01. The patch notes simply mention that this update is for bug fixes while the file size of the update is also just under 500 MB.
If you are still on the verge of getting the game, there are two different demos available to grab for the PS4 and PS5. One is set in the village while the second demo will put you in the castle of Lady Dimitrescu. These demos are currently timed exclusive for the PlayStation consoles but will be available on other platforms beginning this May.
ESRB has also recently rated Resident Evil Village giving some new details on the game including its enemies. Resident Evil Village will come bundled with Resident Evil Re: Verse which has also been rated by ESRB.
The game is confirmed to arrive for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. It will support 4K at 60 FPS on the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles and 1080p at 60 FPS on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
