Nintendo has announced Splatoon 3 Update 11.2.0, bringing a new round of multiplayer balance adjustments for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch players. The patch revisits several changes introduced in Version 11.0.0, softening certain weapon improvements while also enhancing the usability and identity of others.
The update also introduces adjustments to special weapons, modifies special point requirements for a number of weapon kits, updates no-contest rules in ranked modes, and improves X Battle matchmaking to reduce the chances of teams being overloaded with weapons that share similar preferred engagement ranges.

- Reduced the size of blaster explosion collision detection against opponents.
- Partially reverses the improvements introduced in Version 11.0.0.

- Increased the delay before ink recovery begins after firing by approximately 1/6th of a second.
Heavy Splatling / Heavy Splatling Deco / Order Splatling Replica
- Reduced the radius inked by spray droplets from shots by approximately 8%.
- Reduced the radius of ink splatter at impact by approximately 8%.

- Increased damage dealt to Big Bubblers by approximately 30%.

- Reduced ink consumption while zipping by approximately 33%.

- Increased damage dealt to Big Bubblers from direct hits and explosions by approximately 30%.

- Reduced damage taken from splatanas while armor is active by approximately 30%.
Splattercolor Screen
- Increased deployment range, allowing placement farther away.
Crab Tank
- Reduced the effective radius of cannon explosions by approximately 14%.
